Doll artist – Vesna Spaseva, from Macedonia

Vesna has been making various amigurumi dolls for 5 years. She says, “There is a child in each of us. I’m happy every time a new doll is ready. ”She continues,“ It was hard for me when I lost my job. I had a lot of free time and needed something to keep myself occupied, but also to make a living. For me, amigurumi is more than therapy. It relaxes me and I enjoy doing it. When I see the children’s joy in my toys, I am satisfied too. ”
Vesna is part of an income-generating group of the“ Together against cancer ”program at the women’s organization of Sv. Nikole, Macedonia.
